Petite?

Hi. My name is Petite. Or it is not actually my name but something I prefer to be called - for now. Let me clear few things for you. I am not French, nor do I speak French. I'm a shop girl but definitely not a midinette, in the true meaning of the word. I don't live in Paris, or nowhere near it. In fact, I don't even live in France, or central Europe. Quite far from it, in Nordic region. Where exactly, you ask? Finland.

What is this alter ego then; what about it is true? It was, actually, created by my boss. I do work in a shop, even though there is no way of calling it a boutique. So in a way, I am a midinette, but in a wrong place and wrong time. Unfortunate, yes, I know.

What will this blog be about then? Everything, possible and impossible. At least so I think, and hope. It will be about the shop, about the fashion, about the living and home decor. Recipes, make up... My interests are many, yet I don't know if I will be able to keep it up for long. However, I will try.

Petite Midinette esittäytyy. Petite ei tietenkään ole minun nimeni, mutta joku sana, jolla haluan itseni esitellä, ainakin toistaiseksi. En ole ranskalainen, enkä edes puhu kieltä. Olen myyjä, mutta en oikea midinette. En asu Pariisissa, en Ranskassa - enkä edes haaveile siitä. Olen ainoastaan nainen, joka loi mieleisensä alter egon, jonka alkuperä on lähtöisin pomoltani, joka huudahti kerran "Täällä se meidän midinette vain ompelee!"

Mistä tämä blogi sitten kertoo? Kaikesta, mahdollisesta ja mahdottomasta - ainakin toivottavasti. Myymälästä, muodista, elämästä, kodista. Reseptejä, meikkejä.... Kaikkea mistä olen kiinnostunut, joskaan kiinnostuksen aiheet eivät kestä yleensä pitkään. Lupaan kuitenkin yrittää, katsotaan mihin se riittää.
